xPONENT 4.2.1441 Software Update Download And Installation Instructions

Thank you for downloading the xPONENT 4.2.1441 Software Update file. Please read these instructions before proceeding with the installation. If your download does not start automatically, click here to download the file manually.

NOTE: If the computer used to download this software update is not connected to the instrument, you will have to save the update file on to a USB drive and then copy it from the USB drive to the xPONENT 4.2 computer desktop.

Installing the Software Update onto the xPONENT 4.2.1441 Computer

  1. Verify the installed version of xPONENT is 4.2.1441 by starting the software and selecting Help>About Luminex xPONENT. If you do not have xPONENT 4.2.1441 installed, please contact Luminex Technical Support.
  2. Close the xPONENT software.
  3. After downloading the xPONENT 4.2.1441 Software Update file, IXPO00008568.exe, from the web site, copy it to the xPONENT 4.2.1441 computer desktop.
  4. Launch the IXPO00008568.exe.

    NOTE: An Open File – Security Warning may appear. Select Run to continue with the installation.  A dialog box displays “This program will update xPONENT 4.2.”  Select Yes.

  5. When the xPONENT 4.2 for FLEXMAP Patch InstallShield Wizard screen is displayed, select Update. The InstallShield Wizardwill automatically install the xPONENT 4.2 Update.

    NOTE: During the xPONENT 4.2 software update installation, an Error 1923 message may appear. Select Retry to safely continue the installation.

  6. When the xPONENT for FLEXMAP InstallShield Wizard Completed screen is displayed, select Finish.
  7. Restart the computer.
  8. Verify the xPONENT 4.2 software update is installed by selecting Help>About Luminex xPONENT. The Installed Updates box displays the IXPO-00008568 update.
